Northern Peninusla Project
We are intersted in how plant chemistry changes in different habitats and environments and in response to herbivory. As a pilot project we are investigating moose-plant dynamics in the northern peninsula, which has one of the highest moose densities on the island of Newfoundland.
With our partners at the Centre for Forest Science and Innovation, and at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper, we are planning a project to look at lynx-hare-vegetation dynamics in the area of Terra Nova Naitonal Park. We are currently recruiting students for this long-term project; check the “Graduate Students” page for details.
